SCOL’s new administrative office is housed in the former Franciscan monastery of Bonaventura College on Mariënpoelstraat in Leiden. The project consists of a renovation section and a new construction section. The original structure of the municipal monument has been restored, and the new offices under the roof of a Corten steel house are connected to the central corridor in the monumental part by means of an atrium. At the location of the chapel with stained-glass windows at the rear, the office has been expanded with a high glass atrium.

The original structure of the municipal monument has been restored, while the new offices under a Corten steel roof, in the shape of a small house, are connected to the central corridor of the monumental part via an atrium.

At the rear, near the chapel with stained glass windows, the office has been extended with a high glass atrium. This creates a harmonious interplay between the historic building and the modern extension.
